The Thai Community Development Center (Thai CDC) was founded in 1994 by leading human rights activist, Chanchanit Martorell, on the idea that all peoples have a basic right to a decent standard of living and quality of life. Yet, in the Thai and other disadvantaged communities, people are living in substandard housing and lack access to basic health services, education and quality employment. As a social change organization engaged in human rights advocacy and broad based community development, the Thai CDC seeks to empower the most vulnerable and economically disadvantaged members of the Thai community. They include poor recent immigrants,...

I think you can do that as long as the other H1B's were not cancelled.

Hello Attorneys / Experts,
Thanks for this great service... Appreciate if you can pl provide your inputs to my situation below :
Jan'09 : My Employer submitted H1B - Vacation Recapture + Extension based on pending I-140
Feb'09 : RFE was issued asking information related to Company
Feb'09 : H1B - 6 Years completed : H1B Visa / I-94 Expired in Passport
Mar'09 : RFE responded with the requested information
Apr 10, 2009 : USCIS Denied H1B Extension petition.
I understand from my employer that I can no longer be on the US payrolls and that I've to leave the country in 180 days.
Is Motion to Reopen (MTR) / Appeal is an option to legally stay in US ? If MTR is submitted, can I continue to work for the employer / client and get paid ?
Appreciate your inputs in this area.

Hi Friends,
My EAD expires in the mid of August.I am planning to go india at last week of July.I thought of applying for EAD renewal now.But my lawer said it is always preferrable that the candidate must present in US while processing EAD renewal. Is it ok if I apply for renewal after I come back from India.By that time,My EAD already expires. Will it be a problem If I apply for renewal after expiry of current EAD.I am currently on H1B visa and I am not using EAD status now.If it is a problem,I will postpone my India trip.
Thanks

Hi,
I know that this is not a "Green card related" question but an important question that I hope someone will answer. I am planning to use EAD after my I140 approval and jump to consulting business. I have thought about Self-employment but it sounds like it is risky. Are there any good consulting companies which charge very less percentage for having me as an employee on EAD. I hope that company can send AC21 and continue my GC processing.
Thanks,

According to the mathew ohio website. there is apparently a very hot legal battle going on between the DHS and a happless immigrant who had been arested for out of status presence. The immigrant was on an H1b and had filed an application in a timely manner and was awaiting decision on his application when the DHS official arrested him and tried to deport him. Please post more information on this issue if anybody is aware of it. His I-94 expired, however, his petition for H1b extension was pending!!!!:o:o:o

Dear All,
1. I was on H1B with company A from Januray 2003 to January 2008.
2. I am on L1A with company A from February 2008 which is valid till December 2010 (my 7 year limit on L1A ends by December 2010).
3. My Labor is applied in October, 2009 by company B.
If my labor is approved or labor pending for 1 year, can I reactivate my old H1B with company B and start working with them.
Please advise. Mr. Dhoni

There's something about these that isn't working. I think klinux is right. Try some other levels of desaturation. I like the headshot the best of the two. The color shot is a nice one, but her skin looks blotchy. Good experiment. Keep trying.
